Active Meditations

Meditation for Heart & Soul

The active meditation techniques are designed to let you experience a wide variety of different ways to “go in”. Body-movement and grounding always are the basis of the meditations. “Moving-into-Meditation”: from movement (for example: dance, Kundalini powershaking, chakra yoga, prayer mudra’s, stimulating the senses, chanting and many more) to rest, and ultimately the “witnessing” in sitting down or lying down posture. Osho, an Indian mystic (1931-1990) discovered that for many western people it is not so evident to just sit down and experience silence. That our hasty way-of-living requires a more active approach. In the active meditation training his meditation techniques will also be explored and experienced. They are a powerful combination of grounding the body, helping the mind to relax and focus and then “witness”.

A special form of Active Meditation is being offered in the one-day workshop “Moving-into-Silence” , where the active meditations as described above are combined with the classical Zazen (sitting meditation) and Kinhin (walking meditation).

What’s real is my guide,
what I need is what I have.
The way things are now.
